Little Ladybirds Day Nursery is holding its first fundraising event in aid of its new charity of the year.
On Saturday 28th September from 10am to 2pm, Little Ladybirds Day Nursery on Preston Farm will stage an autumn fayre to raise money for Zoe’s Place, a local children’s hospice.
The event, to coincide with Little Ladybirds’ 15th anniversary, will feature table-top stalls, face painting, tombola, cakes, refreshments and much more.
Little Ladybirds Manager Jennifer Thompson said: “After being rated as outstanding by Ofsted in 2016, each year we have chosen a charity to support throughout the year.
“Understandably, Zoe’s Place is a local charity close to our hearts, so we are delighted to be raising funds for them over the next 12 months, starting with the autumn fayre.
“We have already had lots of interest from local businesses keen to support the event by paying just £10 for a table to show off their wares, whether that’s cosmetic and crafting products or items for Christmas.
“There will also be lots of fun for the children including a guest appearance from Zoe Bear.
“All the money we raise will go to Zoe’s Place.”
The fayre will also provide an opportunity for potential new parents to view the nursery, as well as enabling current parents to see the rooms their children will progress to during their learning journey at Little Ladybirds.
Jennifer added: “It’s a great way to celebrate our 15th anniversary by raising money for charity and generally introducing people to the nursery.”
Any local businesses who wish to take a stall on the day can do so for £10. They can book their space in advance by calling the nursery on 01642 614020.autumn fayre, charity of the year, fundraising, little ladybirds day nursery stockton, zoe's place
