Not a dry eye in the house

There was not a dry eye in the house when pre-school children from Little Ladybirds enjoyed a magical graduation ceremony.

The 24 children donned hats and gowns for the graduation ceremony watched by their proud parents and nursery staff.

Jennifer Thompson, nursery manager, said: “The children all came onto the stage to receive their graduation scroll. The parents were so proud and I think we even made some of them cry!”

The Gingerbread Man

Run, run, as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I am The Gingerbread Man.

We are taking this popular children’s fairytale to teach our children about different parts of the world.

This ‘top-secret’ project (the children do not know what we are planning so don’t tell) involves one Gingerbread man, which our pre-school children have been making in the nursery, going missing.

Children in our pre-school are enjoying watching our tadpoles which are now swimming around in our fish tank.

The children are looking after them as part of a project to learn about life cycles and growth over time.

Before the reach the stage where they become frogs, we will be releasing them into the wild after all, we can’t have frogs hopping around the nursery can we?
