An action-packed month

To say September was an action-packed month at Little Ladybirds would be an understatement.

Following on from our fire brigade visit in August, Pre-School set up their own ‘people who help us’ doctors’ surgery. They collated literature, materials, and imaginative resources to help patients with their medical concerns. This resulted in some amazing focused communications, and use of fine motor skills.

Fundraising event

Little Ladybirds Day Nursery is holding its first fundraising event in aid of its new charity of the year.

On Saturday 28th September from 10am to 2pm, Little Ladybirds Day Nursery on Preston Farm will stage an autumn fayre to raise money for Zoe’s Place, a local children’s hospice.

The event, to coincide with Little Ladybirds’ 15th anniversary, will feature table-top stalls, face painting, tombola, cakes, refreshments and much more.

No let up

August is traditionally a quiet month with no school and many people on holiday, but there’s no let up at Little Ladybirds.

We started the month continuing with our camping theme. Using an amazing six-man tent loaned to us, many of our pre-school children enjoyed a new experience being in a tent and pretending to camp out in the great outdoors.
