Specialist infection control course

Little Ladybirds Day Nursery has become the first in the country to sign-up to a specialist infection control course designed specifically for early year settings which have re-opened following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Staff at the nursery are all taking the online course as part of the measures both nurseries have taken to protect children, staff, and parents from Coronavirus. On successful completion of the course, staff receive a personalised certificate.

Ducks in a row

Tweenies began February by getting all their ducks in a row – 5 little ducks in fact!

They enjoyed singing along to the popular song in their regular Signing Tots sessions with Dawn. They also had lots of fun playing with their yellow ducks and exploring rice and counting words in the five little ducks themed tuff tray.

A hair-raising day

A wild amount of money was raised by children and staff at Little Ladybirds Day Nursery following a hair-raising day.

We held a wild hair day for our latest fundraising event in aid of our charity of the year – local children’s hospice Zoë’s Place.

Children and staff tried to outdo each other to see who was the cut above when it came to having the craziest locks and the results were ‘hair-larious’.
